We reserve the right to refuse to clean or restore any shoes or soles. We do not guarantee that all stains (wine, coffee, blood, oil/grease & paint stains, material/dye bleeding) and pre-existing damage or defects will be removed. Kleanless is not liable for any personal or non-cleanable items that are lost or damaged. We cannot keep unclaimed shoes for more than 7 days unless otherwise agreed. Failure to collect shoes after the 7-day grace period will result in an R50 per week storage fee. Unclaimed shoes will be donated to charity after this time period.

Damage Policy

Kleanless will make reasonable efforts to provide high-quality cleaning services. We accept no liability for items damaged as a result of normal cleaning without care instructions, and we accept no liability for items treated in accordance with the care labels or other instructions provided. Kleanless is not liable for sneaker materials bleeding (such as suede dye) or changing as a result of standard sneaker treatment procedures. If possible, measures are applied to alleviate these issues. If a claim is made more than 3 days after the customer's collection, pick-up, or delivery, The Sneaker Shack declines responsibility for lost or damaged items.

Lost or Damaged Items Reimbursement Policy

Any reimbursement shall not exceed the lower amount of the following:
  • 2 times our charge for shoe cleaning, regardless of brand or condition.
  • With proof of payment, the replacement value of the sneaker(s) is as follows: 60% if bought under 30 days, 50% within 31 and 120 days, and 20% beyond one year.
  • Kleanless is not responsible for reimbursing the customer for replacement products purchased to replace lost or damaged items. We are under no obligation to return any funds paid by the customer, but we reserve the right to do so at our sole and absolute discretion.
